California Labor Federation to endorse Jerry McNerney for Congress

According to a credible source, The California Labor Federation (AFL-CIO) is endorsing Jerry McNerney for Congress. There has been no official announcement yet. Jerry McNerney has already received the endorsement of both the San Joaquin and Alameda Central Labor Councils as well as a number of other labor endorsements. The Cal Labor Fed endorsement would be a gain in terms of not only getting the big California labor endorsement, but as far as fundraising, credibility, boots on the ground, and continuing the theme of McNerney getting the local and grassroots support and Filson being supported primarily by beltway insiders and entrenched politicians.
